The twin room was heated and modern for boiling water for tea. The location was marvellous for traveling around Roncesvalles, near church in the town square and near the albergue, Pamplona and the monastery complex. I ate in the attached restaurant nearby.

The guest room was stunning with boiling water for tea, very comfortable beds, and a great shower. The location next to the church in the town square and near the albergue, a medieval monastery, and the center of the village was great and stunning. The perfect food in the attached restaurant was the best part.

Great hotel in historic environment. Beautiful, clean, calm.
Since there are som many pilgrims staying at the hotel, and they get up at 5.30.6.30 to start walking you wish that the otel started to serve breakfast at those hours. Now breakfast is served when the pilgrims are kilometrers away from the hotel.

The relaxing environment in the hotel, the background music, the design of the rooms and all the hotel and the feeling of staying in another century. The breakfast was the best we have tasted on our trip.

Amazing Hotel with modern interior located in old building. It was a surprise to find this gem in small Roncesvalles, worthy of 4stars!!! The town is small but packed with history and the hotel has everything you need. We hiked in the area and visited the Museum. There is not much around in term of shops so if you need anything extra, bring it with you. Excellent hotel, I would definitely stay there again.
This could be improved. Internet accessible only on ground floor. The bar is not stuffed and need to ask the front desk for service, this is awkward. Need to have full time evening server.

Absolutely beautiful building, very tastefully restored in designer hotel style.Lovely historic seting, on the Pilgrim Route to Santiago. If the hotel had a gourmet restaurant it would be 100% perfect, but the adjacent restaurant is cheerful rather than elegant. Good bufet breakfast in the hotel itself. Prices are reasonable enough to be a useful stopover for pilgrims and other walkers.

My room was large, light, clean and functional. It was remarkably good value.
Breakfast was over-priced and involved queuing for hours to get a hot drink from the single automatic hot drinks machine. I had the misfortune to reach the breakfast room at the same time as a group of some 30 people and, in the end I gave up waiting!
